UnATI offers special vacation program for over 200 elderly people
Amazonas State University (UEA), through the Open University of the Third Age (UnATI), will hold a special vacation program that includes dance, theater, handicrafts, swimming, among other activities for the public elderly, from January 11 to February 8. More than 240 vacancies on courses and workshops will be offered. The program will be held at UnATI, Avenida Brasil, s/n, Santo Antonio.
To participate, you only have to attend on the days of scheduled activities with a copy of ID, Individual Taxpayers' Registry, proof of residence, and to be over 50 years of age. No prior registration is required. The objective is to mobilize the senior citizen community to return to UnATI's 2018 academic calendar, scheduled for March this year.
During the three weeks of the vacation activities will be offered dance, theater, recycling, handicrafts, swimming, hydro-pilates, body balance, memory workshops, and alternative feeding courses.
All programming is aimed at the elderly people, with the exception of the Theater Course, which will extend the participation for the whole family, allowing the participation of the public from 14 years. This is the only modality that will be held in the building of the School of Health Sciences (ESA-UEA), Avenida Carvalho Leal, 1777, Bloco B, Cachoeirinha. Vacancies are limited.
